Rose Face
“Rose Face” has lived three distinct lives, showcasing how beloved murals take on a life of their own. Originally painted in 2015 on an abandoned Lafayette & Grand Street nightclub door, the mural was salvaged in 2017 by new tenants who mounted and displayed it inside for years. After being left behind during yet another transition, the current owner tracked Danielle down in February 2026 to safely return it. Today, “Rose Face” enjoys its third rebirth at Cycol Gallery, celebrating the enduring public spirit of Lower East Side street art.
